PIAMA Members Frequently Asked Questions:

1)  I Provide Services To Online Businesses. How does “PIAMA” help me?

Similar to the hugely successful business eBayŽ, PIAMAŽ is a member-based organization that acts as a links between Advertisers seeking online services and you. After your account is setup, you will receive Requests from Online Businesses seeking advertising, eCommerce and related service, using our PIAMA ID system. We will act as intermediaries and forward replies to and from our Members and Advertisers, along with prices, counter-offers, outline or details of what they will provide to you, for your review.

If you accept a Request To Provide Services, payment will be arranged through PIAMA, or held by PIAMA until you have provided the service based on the terms. In some cases, full payment is withheld until you have provided the services as requested. In other instances when full payment is due upon acceptance, payment is released to Member (or Non-Member) minus a fee equal to 3%, and PIAMA monitors that transaction to completion, to insure that the Advertiser receives the best possible service and professional treatment.

2) What does this service cost?

A flat Per transaction Fee of 3% is charged unless otherwise negotiated and agreed to between you and PIAMA.

3) How Am I Paid?

After you accept an offer to provide a requested service, PIAMA will collect the agreed upon fees and act as Escrow Agent, unless other arrangements have been made and agreed to between you and the Advertiser. You are paid in the following manner, agreed to in advance:

  1. Upon completion of the service. You are not paid until the service has been provided by you and in full compliance with the agreement.

  2. Pro-Rata Payments. You will be paid per project or upon completion of phases of a project or service. Some services require costs that must be borne by the Advertiser in advanced installments or phases, as they are completed or obtained.

  3. Payment In Full - In Advance. You are paid in full, less our fees, in advance.

You are free to negotiate either of the above Payment methods, or a combination of them. You are free to negotiate a suitable and acceptable payment method with the Advertiser.

4) What is a preferred payment method ?

Any method that is agreeable between You and the
Advertiser.

5) What is your Refund and Cancellation Policy?

An Advertiser is Entitled to a FULL REFUND under the following examples:

  • You agreed to perform a service, but refused or were unable to provide the service as outlined and agreed. You are requested to commence any agreed upon service within 15 days from the time of receipt of payment. If you do not provide the service as outlined and agreed to, you must make a full refund to the Advertiser, unless that Advertiser agrees to an extension of time or modification of terms.

  • You agreed to provide a particular service, but the service that you agreed to provide was misrepresented by you.

An Advertiser is Not Entitled To a Full REFUND under the following examples:

  • You fully carried out the agreed upon services, but the Advertiser did not receive the result that he/she imagined. If you provided the service as agreed, you have earned your fee and should not be required to make a refund.

  • The Advertiser's promotion was fraudulent, or Advertiser made intentional omissions or misrepresentations regarding any aspect of Advertiser's online business or promotion. Intentional misrepresentations will lead to forfeiture of all fees paid by the Advertiser. You have earned your fees and should not be required to make a refund.

  • You may cancel your agreement to provide services at any time prior to implementation and start of the requested service.

  • You may modify the terms of your agreement to provide service by mutual consent and agreement between you and the Advertiser.

6)
How are Advertiser and Member disputes handled (arbitration)?

Most transactions are completed to the satisfaction of all, however, there may be times when you have a disagreement with an Advertiser. If you are involved in a dispute regarding any aspect of the service that you provided, all parties enter into PIAMA Arbitration and Resolution to determine if the contract was met or not. PIAMA follows the rules of arbitration to determine what has and has not been delivered or performed, and may even verify that the services have been provided as agreed. To ensure fairness, all parties have already agreed in advance to abide by the PIAMA settlement.

 7) How does PIAMA protect me as a Member?

  • Each New Advertiser's application is reviewed and verified prior to acceptance. Contact information, references, past performance and reputation may also be checked and verified. PIAMA frequently rechecks information given to it by Advertisers to insure accuracy.

  • PIAMA can act as a direct buyer, referral or escrow service in many transactions for added safety.

  • PIAMA will hold fees paid by an Advertiser for a service, insuring that you are paid for your efforts.

  • To lessen or eliminate complaints, refunds or adverse reputation, Active Members must agree to provide additional services to Advertisers at little or no additional charge, if the Advertiser is not pleased with the initial services performed.

  • In the event that you are unable to provide additional services to an Advertiser, PIAMA will select another Member to carry out the additional service for you, or PIAMA will provide additional service to the Advertiser at no additional charge.

8) How is my financial and personal information kept safe?

All sensitive information is protected via the highest level of SSL encryption (128 bit) to prevent it from being intercepted by unauthorized parties.

9) I need help choosing an Advertiser. Can you help?

Yes. You may request assistance from us at any time, by email or online live support.

10) How long do I have to honor a quote or offer to provide a service?

We ask all Members to honor a quote or offer to provide services for a period of 72 hours.
